Our warm up today was an introduction to the our new unit on Evolution and Genetic Variation. Students were asked to come up with a definition of evolution and adaptation.
Next, we passed back the test and went over the test. There will be no retakes or test corrections for this exam. Students were able to use their completed study guides for the test, so I felt that was enough of an added bonus. Notebook checks and study guides were also imputed into the grade book, all my grades are DONE and FINAL for the quarter.
The title of our new unit (page 51 in our notebooks) is ...EVOLUTION, ECOSYSTEMS and ENERGY.
Page 52 is our new table of contents, and on the back of page 52 we took notes on the differences between Theories and Laws.

Finally as an introduction to new vocabulary and a new concept we added new vocabulary to page 53 in our notebooks and completed a video guide on a video from Discovery Education.
